Kabul: Ten Afghan civilians were killed and four injured after Pakistani air forces carried out strikes in eastern Afghanistan, Afghan government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said on Tuesday.
According to Mujahid, the bombing targeted the Gurbuz district in Khost province at midnight, killing nine children — five boys and four girls — along with one woman. He shared the details in a post on social media.
Mujahid added that Pakistani aircraft also launched strikes in Kunar and Paktika provinces on Monday night, leaving four civilians wounded.
The incidents come amid renewed clashes between Pakistani and Afghan forces along the border in recent days.
