JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly paid solemn floral tributes to former Speaker Late Parasram Maderna on Thursday, honoring his vast contributions to the state’s parliamentary history.
Reflecting on his legacy, current Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani described the late leader as a highly experienced and skilled public representative. Devnani noted that during his tenure, Maderna played a pivotal role in elevating the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly to new heights, firmly establishing strict discipline and upholding the highest democratic values.
The tribute ceremony saw the active participation of senior assembly bureaucrats. Principal Secretary of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, alongside Senior Deputy Secretaries Sanjeev Kumar Sharma and Nandkishore Sharma, as well as various assembly officials and staff members, offered floral tributes before Late Maderna’s portrait.
A stalwart of Rajasthan politics, Late Parasram Maderna served a distinguished tenure as the Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly from January 6, 1999, to January 15, 2004.
