JAIPUR: Taking proactive steps to ensure transparent and rapid resolution of public grievances, Medical Education Department Commissioner Babulal Goyal inspected the Rajasthan Sampark Portal (181) call center at the State Secretariat on Wednesday.
During the intensive review, the Commissioner directly interacted with complainants over the phone to understand their ground-level issues, issuing strict on-the-spot directives to officials to ensure quick, effective, and high-quality resolutions.
AI Integration and a 93% Resolution Rate
While reviewing the operational mechanics of the portal, Goyal was briefed on the advanced analytical capabilities of ‘Sampark AI’, which is currently being used to analyze complaint patterns and data.
Reviewing the department’s performance matrix, the Commissioner noted highly encouraging figures: out of the 14,615 grievances received related to the Medical Education Department to date, a commendable 13,713 complaints have already been successfully resolved.
He further instructed officials that every grievance logged on the Rajasthan Sampark portal must be handled with utmost priority, sensitivity, and strict adherence to time limits to continuously strengthen public trust in government services.
Direct Citizen Interaction: Tracking Live Cases
Demonstrating a hands-on approach, Commissioner Goyal personally handled several live cases during his visit:
- Kota: Spoke with Ramesh regarding long-pending delays in the issuance of his disability certificate, directing immediate action from the concerned officials.
- Jodhpur: Assured Sunil of a swift resolution regarding technical issues with a sonography machine at a local Satellite Hospital.
- Jaipur: Addressed Sandeep’s billing payment dispute and immediately directed officials to expedite Vishnu Prajapat’s grievance concerning a NEET UG fee refund.
Aligning with CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s Vision
This administrative inspection is part of a broader, state-wide governance initiative mandated by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. To ensure robust, transparent, and immediate grievance redressal, the Chief Minister has directed all departmental secretaries and senior bureaucrats to physically visit the Rajasthan Sampark Helpline (181) control room on scheduled dates.
This direct dialogue initiative allows citizens to register complaints from the comfort of their homes while ensuring that the highest levels of the state bureaucracy are personally monitoring the resolution process.
