New Delhi: The Ayush pavilion at the ongoing India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 has become a major crowd-puller, offering free medical consultations, medicines, yoga demonstrations, and a variety of wellness activities, the Ministry of Ayush said on Friday.

Showcasing the theme “A Healthy India, Great India – with Ayush”, the pavilion is attracting thousands of visitors eager to experience holistic health practices rooted in Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, and Homoeopathy.

Each stall presents a different facet of Ayush health systems, ranging from digital diagnostics and diet-related demonstrations to interactive games and expert-led sessions. With live demos, educational activities, and participatory engagement, the pavilion is catering to visitors of all ages.

Experts from the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), the National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), the National Institute of Siddha (NIS), and the Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) are providing free consultations and distributing medicines. According to the Ministry, these initiatives help visitors understand how personalised Ayush therapies support preventive and holistic healthcare.

“The Ayush Pavilion at IITF 2025 continues to see high public engagement through its wide range of exhibits and activities. It highlights India’s strong tradition of holistic care and demonstrates how classical Ayush wisdom is being aligned with modern scientific methods,” the Ministry said.

It added that free health checkups and Ayush medicines are being offered, underscoring the ministry’s emphasis on preventive, affordable, and community-focused healthcare services.

Institutions including the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) in Jaipur, Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), and the National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa are also showcasing their work.

Physicians from CCRUM and NIUM are conducting free consultations and distributing medicines to highlight the benefits of personalised Unani care. The NIS team is engaging visitors with IEC materials and has already provided free medical consultations to more than 100 people.

A Homoeopathy OPD operated by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) is also functioning inside the pavilion, where doctors are offering consultations and dispensing required medicines.

The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) has set up a live display of medicinal plants and is distributing saplings to visitors.

Indian Medicines Pharmaceutical Corporation Limited (IMPCL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Ayush, is exhibiting its range of Ayurvedic and Unani formulations.

Adding to the attractions, several Ayurveda-based start-ups are showcasing skincare and haircare products, detox beverages, Ayurvedic foods, and other wellness offerings.
