Hyderabad: Actor Nagarjuna extended warm birthday wishes to his son Naga Chaitanya on Sunday, celebrating the occasion by unveiling the first look poster of Chaitanya’s upcoming film Vrushakarma.

Sharing the poster on X, Nagarjuna wrote: “Dear @chay_akkineni wishing you a fantastic year ahead and happy happy returns of this day… Sending you all my love!! Godspeed with #VRUSHAKARMA.”

Sobhita Dhulipala, Naga Chaitanya’s wife, also marked the day with a personal message. The Made in Heaven actress posted a romantic photograph on Instagram showing Chaitanya zipping her jacket during what appears to be a holiday moment. “Happy birthday lover @chayakkineni,” she captioned the picture. Chaitanya responded with a red heart emoji in the comments.

Coinciding with the celebrations, the makers of Chaitanya’s next film—earlier known by the working title NC24—announced the official title Vrushakarma and released the first look. Directed by Karthik Dandu, the film features Chaitanya in a rugged, intense avatar, standing mid-battle against the backdrop of a celestial eclipse and shattered structures.

Tollywood star Mahesh Babu also sent his wishes online, writing: “Wishing you a very HapWispy Birthday @chay_akkineni. #VrushaKarma looks super solid… looking forward to this.”

Meenakshi Chowdhury stars opposite Naga Chaitanya in Vrushakarma, while Laapataa Ladies actor Sparsh Srivastava appears in a key role.
