Alwar: A five‑fire‑pit Gayatri Hawan Yagya was organised on Saturday morning at Keshav Adarsh Vidyapeeth School in Mohalla Barai Mata, Budhvihar, with the objective of fostering spiritual values, positive character formation and a harmonious environment among young students.
The event, conducted by the Gayatri Parivar at 10 AM, focused on the concept of cultivating divinity within individuals and promoting a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere in society. Students from all classes, along with faculty members, participated with devotion and enthusiasm.
The Yagya was performed under the guidance of District Yug Sahitya Coordinator Advocate Daulat Ram Sharma, accompanied by a team led by Shri Mohanlal Sharma. They explained the significance of collective spiritual practices, highlighting that such rituals help strengthen emotional resilience, respect, and discipline in children.
Officials of the Gayatri Parivar, including Shri Gyanendra Sharma, Chaudhary Charan Singh, Rakesh Tiwari (Trustee), Devkinandan Agrawal, Shyam Lal Sahu, Sudhindra Sharma, and Principal Dr. Nisha Sharma, joined the programme and encouraged students to adopt values inspired by Indian culture and tradition.
As part of the event, Pragya Abhiyan Fortnightly magazines were distributed among teachers to spread awareness of ethical education and value‑based learning. Students from classes 6 to 8 received Mantra Writing Booklets, designed to promote focus and reflective thinking through daily practice.
Teachers and staff were welcomed with Gayatri stoles and adorned with Akshat Tilak as a gesture of respect and goodwill. Members of the organisation said that such acts are intended to reinforce bonds between educators and value‑based organisations working for youth development.
School Head Shri Rattiram delivered a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Gayatri Parivar for bringing spiritually enriching activities into the school environment. He said that initiatives like the Yagya provide students with meaningful learning beyond academics, encouraging compassion, unity and responsible behaviour.
Organisers shared that Gayatri Parivar will continue to hold similar programmes to expand the reach of moral education and motivate younger generations to contribute positively to society. They emphasised that incorporating spiritual teachings in everyday school life supports the holistic development of children — intellectually, emotionally and morally.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for collective well‑being and a pledge to uphold ethical and humanitarian values.
