Alwar: Gayatri Parivar, Alwar, organised a havan ceremony on January 7 at the residential campus of Galaxy Vidya Mandir located in Kathumar. The spiritual programme was held in the presence of students and members of the school staff, reflecting the institution’s continued engagement with value-based and spiritual activities.

The ritual was conducted by Chaudhary Charan Singh and Mohanlal Sharma, who led the proceedings in a structured and disciplined manner. Students and teachers gathered at the campus to witness and participate in the ceremony, which was organised in accordance with the traditions followed by Gayatri Parivar.

Students from secondary and senior secondary classes actively took part in the havan. During the ritual, they collectively offered 108 oblations into the sacred fire while chanting the Gayatri Mantra. The participation of students formed a central part of the ceremony, with emphasis placed on collective prayer and discipline throughout the event.

School authorities stated that the purpose of organising such activities is to encourage moral, ethical and spiritual development among students. According to the administration, Galaxy Vidya Mandir regularly follows the principles and teachings of Gayatri Parivar and ensures that such programmes are organised every year as part of its broader educational approach.

The administration highlighted that the inclusion of spiritual practices within the school environment is aimed at fostering values such as discipline, responsibility and ethical conduct among students. Teachers and staff members were also present during the ceremony, supporting and guiding students through the proceedings.

On the occasion, it was announced that an 11-kund Gayatri Mahayajna is proposed to be organised in the first week of February. The announcement was made in the presence of students and staff, indicating plans to continue spiritual activities on a larger scale in the coming weeks. The proposed Mahayajna is expected to involve broader participation and follow the same principles observed during the havan ceremony.

In addition to the announcement, school staff members took a collective pledge during the programme. They committed to subscribing to 25 copies of the Yug Nirman Yojana magazine. The pledge was described as a step towards strengthening their association with the ideals promoted by Gayatri Parivar and supporting initiatives focused on character building and spiritual awareness.

The organisers noted that such commitments reflect the institution’s ongoing efforts to integrate spiritual learning with formal education. By encouraging staff participation alongside students, the school aims to create an environment where values are practised collectively rather than taught only in theory.

The event concluded in a calm and disciplined manner, with students and staff expressing satisfaction over the organisation of the ceremony. School representatives reiterated that Galaxy Vidya Mandir will continue to organise similar programmes in the future, in line with its long-standing association with Gayatri Parivar.

According to the organisers, regular spiritual activities help instil a sense of responsibility and ethical awareness among students at an early age. The havan ceremony was described as part of a sustained effort to balance academic learning with moral and cultural values.

The programme at the Kathumar campus marked another instance of collaboration between Gayatri Parivar and educational institutions in the region. Organisers stated that such initiatives are intended to promote holistic development among students by combining education with spiritual and ethical guidance.

The ceremony was held under the guidance of Gayatri Parivar, Alwar, and took place in a structured and peaceful atmosphere. Participants said the event reinforced the importance of collective prayer and discipline, while also strengthening the bond between students, teachers and the institution.
