Bhilwara: A large gathering of BJP youth workers from across Bhilwara district convened for a conference under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan, reiterating the call for a stronger commitment to self‑reliance and Swadeshi practices. The meeting took place at the district headquarters with participation from several senior party leaders.
Devnarayan Board Chairman and state co‑convenor Omprakash Bhadana attended the event as the chief guest, while district president Prashant Mewara presided over the proceedings. Among those present were former MP Subhash Bahediya, MLAs Udaylal Bhadana and Lalaram Bairwa, former MLA Vitthal Shankar Awasthi and Bhilwara Mayor Rakesh Pathak, along with other key BJP office‑bearers.
Addressing the youth workers, Bhadana emphasized that meaningful national progress hinges on India’s younger generation choosing locally developed products, supporting Indian industries and strengthening native technological expertise. He cited the success of India’s COVID‑19 vaccine programme and advancements in defence manufacturing as examples of how domestic capabilities can transform the country’s global standing. He urged young citizens to take the lead in shaping India into a world‑leading nation.
District BJP president Prashant Mewara accused the previous Congress administration of failing youth aspirations, mentioning issues such as corruption and frequent exam paper leak incidents. He claimed that in the past two years, the BJP government has restored fairness and transparency in governance.
Former MP Subhash Bahediya echoed the need for greater public participation in the movement toward self‑reliance. He stated that true progress would be possible only when citizens actively contribute to strengthening India’s internal economic systems.
Speaking to the youth workers, MLA Udaylal Bhadana referred to Bhilwara’s young population as a major force capable of driving transformational development across the state. Supporting this view, MLA Lalaram Bairwa appealed to young citizens to uphold national pride and further India’s role in global leadership.
Former MLA Vitthal Shankar Awasthi said that empowered and determined youth can overcome any challenge and convert ambitious goals into reality. He highlighted their role as innovators and changemakers in shaping the country’s future.
Bhilwara Mayor Rakesh Pathak commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for initiatives aimed at providing platforms for youth empowerment, entrepreneurship and skills development. He added that these measures align directly with India’s long‑term vision of economic self‑dependence.
The conference was coordinated by Raunak Hingad and Piyush Mewara, who also delivered the vote of thanks. A large number of BJP Yuva Morcha leaders and workers attended the event, expressing support for the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission and reaffirming the belief that youth will remain at the forefront of India’s development roadmap.
With calls for strengthened Swadeshi efforts and wider youth participation, the gathering aimed to advance the national commitment toward building a self‑reliant and future‑ready India.
