JAIPUR: In alignment with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s strict directives for swift, transparent, and effective public grievance redressal, Narayan Singh, Managing Director of Jaipur City Transport Services Limited (JCTSL), inspected the Rajasthan Sampark 181 call center at the State Secretariat on Thursday.

During the visit, the Managing Director comprehensively reviewed the operational mechanics of the Rajasthan Sampark portal, specifically focusing on the influx and disposal rate of complaints directed at the city’s transport department.

Pushing for Transparent and Timely Resolutions

Emphasizing the core principles of good governance, MD Singh stated that the time-bound, transparent, and high-quality resolution of public grievances is essential for state administration. After reviewing the departmental data, he issued strict, immediate directives to concerned officials to ensure that all pending commuter complaints are resolved rapidly and effectively.

Direct Dialogue with Commuters

Taking a hands-on approach to the review process, the Managing Director personally connected with multiple complainants over the phone to understand their ground-level issues. He spoke directly with citizens including Himanshu, Ramkishan, Udit, Amit Gupta, and Pushpendra, assessing the current status of their registered complaints.

The grievances primarily highlighted issues regarding irregularities in city bus operations, route management problems, and instances of inappropriate behavior by bus staff. Acknowledging the feedback, Singh immediately directed the relevant departmental officers to take strict and prompt corrective action on these specific complaints.

The inspection was attended by various officials and personnel from both the Rajasthan Sampark portal and the transport department.
