Jaipur: Bolstering its ease of doing business, the Rajasthan government attracted ₹1,03,003.64 crore in investment intents through the RajNivesh portal in June 2026. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state released its Monthly Impact Assessment report on Friday, highlighting the tangible success of the Deregulation and Compliance Reduction Phase-I initiative.

Streamlined Business Approvals

Chief Secretary V. Srinivas attributed these positive outcomes to major phase-one reforms, which include simplified administrative approvals, expanded online services, risk-based inspections, and a reduced compliance burden for industries. Between April and June 2026, the RajNivesh portal received over 30,000 applications, subsequently granting more than 17,000 approvals.

In June alone, the single-window system processed 10,908 applications, reflecting significantly improved investor outreach. Crucially, the disposal time for new electricity connections has been slashed from an average of 20 days to just 10 days in 2026. Similarly, tourism project approvals now take an average of 16 days, down from the previous 22-day timeline.

Key Districts and Sectors Driving Growth

Established industrial hubs like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, and Kota continue to lead the state in overall business approvals. However, emerging districts such as Didwana-Kuchaman, Sirohi, Beawar, Karauli, and Phalodi recorded exceptional growth, exceeding a 50 percent increase in approved applications compared to the previous month.

The robust ₹1.03 lakh crore investment influx spans several high-growth sectors. Real estate, renewable energy, textiles, tourism, and gems and jewelry have emerged as the primary drivers of this industrial expansion.

Boosting Women’s Workforce Participation

The state report also highlighted positive trends in workplace inclusivity, noting that women now represent 26 to 32 percent of the workforce in technical and operational industrial roles.

To support this participation, the government and industries are implementing safe night-shift provisions. These encompass secure pick-up and drop facilities, allowances, crèche services, dedicated canteens, improved hygiene infrastructure, and robust grievance redressal systems.

By accelerating digital governance and advancing next-generation compliance reforms, the Rajasthan government is systematically cementing its position as a premier investment destination in India.
