Mumbai: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan recently shared a childhood memory that left his parents deeply anxious after he unexpectedly went missing from home for several hours.

The actor recounted the incident while appearing alongside his father, veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, on the popular television programme The Kapil Sharma Show.

During the conversation, Rakesh Roshan narrated how the family became increasingly worried when they returned home one day and realised that young Hrithik was nowhere to be found.

According to the filmmaker, Hrithik had already returned from school, but was not present anywhere in the house when the family arrived. Concerned about his whereabouts, the family searched every room in the house but could not locate him.

Rakesh Roshan revealed that their bedroom was locked and the keys remained with them, making it unlikely that Hrithik could have entered the room. As hours passed without any sign of him, anxiety within the family grew.

The search reportedly continued for nearly two to three hours, after which the family even contacted the police for assistance.

Unknown to everyone, Hrithik was actually inside his parents’ bedroom all along.

Sharing his side of the story, the actor revealed that he had secretly entered the room through a small window because he wanted to watch a video cassette stored there.

Hrithik said he was eager to watch a copy of Batman v Superman on VHS and therefore decided to climb into the room through the window. After putting on the film, he eventually fell asleep while watching it.

When he later woke up, he noticed his mother outside the room, visibly distressed and searching for him.

The actor recalled seeing his mother crying and wondering what had happened. Moments later, she looked through the window and discovered him inside the room.

Hrithik said that instead of scolding him after the ordeal, his relieved parents embraced him affectionately.

The anecdote offered fans a glimpse into the actor’s childhood and the close bond he shares with his family.

On the professional front, Hrithik Roshan has expanded his creative portfolio by venturing into the digital space as a producer.

His upcoming OTT project, titled Storm, marks his debut as a producer in the streaming industry.

The series features an ensemble cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma and Saba Azad, among others.

Storm has been created and directed by Ajitpal Singh, who is known for directing the acclaimed series Tabbar.
