Kartik Aaryan’s Sikkim shoot
The Chandu Champion star is presently shooting in the Northeastern state for Anurag Basu’s untitled film. The movie is reported to be the third instalment of the Aashiqui franchise, but nothing has been confirmed so far. The movie also stars Sreelala. The director and the lead actors of the movie also met with Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang.
A post on X by the Chief Minister’s office shared a photo of the meeting. “It was a pleasure to meet Bollywood filmmaker Shri Anurag Basu and renowned actors Mr Kartik Aaryan and Ms. Sreeleela at my official residence, Mintokgang. They have been in the state for a week, shooting their upcoming film at iconic locations such as MG Marg and Tsomgo Lake. Their work beautifully showcases our state’s stunning landscapes, rich culture, and unique architecture,” the post read.
Kartik Aaryan’s future projects
Apart from Anurag Basu’s next, Kartik Aaryan will appear in Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. The film is helmed by Sameer Vidwans who had worked with Aaryan in Satyaprem Ki Katha. According to reports, Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar will team up for a comedy film franchise. The movies will be helmed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, who directed Fukrey.
